DXF garment patterns are a universal format of digital sewing patterns used by leading CAD/CAM systems such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Assyst, Investronica, CLO3D and more.
With years of practice, we’ve found that DXF delivers maximum drafting accuracy and seamless integration into any workflow — from design development to industrial production.
We use the AAMA DXF industry standard (CAD/CAM format), which ensures reliable opening and stable performance across modern software.
Where and how to use
Fashion collections & custom projects.
ERGOMODELS patterns are a ready-to-use base for prêt-à-porter, capsule and signature pieces. Adjust proportions, add details, tailor to fabric or season. Open the no-seam-allowance DXF, pick size and height — and you have a professional foundation to build on. This saves weeks of work, reduces errors and keeps you focused on design.
Industrial manufacturing.
On the factory floor, speed and accuracy matter most. AAMA-compliant DXF with seam allowances integrates cleanly with CAD/CAM systems, plotters and automated cutters, so production can start immediately without extra rework. Suitable for uniforms, corporatewear, workwear, sportswear and other serial products.
3D simulation.
DXF files work not only with CLO3D but also with Browzwear VStitcher, Marvelous Designer, Optitex 3D and Gerber AccuMark 3D. Validate fit, materials and colorways in a realistic preview before cutting, then proceed to production with confidence.
Technical specifics
Our DXF patterns are prepared for convenient use:
- Production: with seam allowances,
- 3D: clean pieces (no seam allowances) for CLO3D and Browzwear,
- Print & review: ready-to-print A0 file.
Download and start working immediately — fast, accurate, professional.
How it’s delivered
Within 2–3 minutes after payment you receive by e-mail:
- DXF graded by sizes and heights — both variants included:
• with seam allowances for production and pattern makers;
• without seam allowances for CLO3D and other 3D software. - Tech documentation (Excel + PDF): parts list, fabric & trims consumption, height-based length tables, ease allowances.
- A0 PDF (base size): a print/control file for quality checks. If text markers or service labels are lost during DXF import into third-party software, this file helps verify and restore them without data loss.
Download the DXF and, if needed, convert it to your CAD’s native format.
If the file is lost, contact site administration — we will restore access.
On request, we can adjust fit, merge models or add new components — keeping industrial quality while giving you flexibility and time savings.
